I'm extremely blessed... I live comfortably, have two beautiful children (young adults), family that I love, my health and ability to do all the things I love to do.  One of my passions is photography.  My intent was never to be rich through my photography business.  Years back when my passion began, my intent was not even to go into business.  This small little business of mine will not support me or my family as of yet.  With one child in college and another on his way soon, a mortgage, cars, phones... it's not likely I can quit my day job.  I'm fortunate that I also enjoy my day job too.  Another blessing.  Being fortunate as I am, I feel the need to give back to my community and I can do that through my photography.  I am a member of the Magic Hour Foundation which provides portrait session to cancer survivors and patients.  I've taken photos for different fundraisers in the past couple of years and today I get to take photos for Another Doggone Wine Tasting.  These proceeds will benefit a local animal shelter.  In a way it is self-serving, it gets my name out there and I get to make new friends.  But it always requires time, the time to attend the event and then hours of editing hundreds of photos.    It requires hundreds of dollars of equipment which eventually begin to break down.   I've worked hard at learning my craft, I didn't just pick up a camera and start taking photos.  I've spent numerous days and weeks attending classes and sessions and I truly love what I do.  I am truly thrilled to be able to give back to my community...
